I am delighted to announce that Potty Adventures are now ambassadors for legendary rucksack brand Lowe Alpine.

Lowe Alpine Ambassador

When you’re as passionate about the outdoors as we are being asked to represent a truly iconic brand formed by climbing legends is a genuine honour. When the Lowe brothers, considered among the leading climbers of their generation, realised that the heavy and unstable backpacks of the 1960s were holding them back from accessing new routes and lines they decided to do something about it. So, in 1967 Lowe Alpine was born.

One of the brothers, Greg, designed, personally tested and launched the brand’s first rucksack that, amongst other things, featured a lightweight internal frame and compression straps. These might seem industry standard today but back then these never-before seen features changed rucksack design forever and gave climbers and mountaineers the lightweight, freedom of movement that they’d been craving for years.

This pioneering company continue to challenge design conventions
today. That is why we’re over the moon
to act as ambassadors for them. We really
don’t choose our brand collaborations lightly and neither do they, I can
guarantee it! So, now that I’ve got
access to some of the best backpacks and backpack designers on the planet, if
anyone has got any questions about rucksack features, fittings or suitability;
please give me a shout and I’ll do my best to advise you.

Likewise, if you happen to see us taking a coffee and cake break (seriously, we have lots of them!) on a mountain somewhere, and want to see which choice of pack we’re carrying that day and why, again just ask. After all, I love nattering about outdoor kit in the mountains with a mouthful of muffin.

In the meantime, keep an eye out for a post from us later this week where I talk you through all of the key features of the awesome Lowe Alpine Aeon 35, which is my new single day adventure pack of choice and is well worth considering if you’re looking for a lightweight, technical rucksack in the near future.
